Question:

I've got a great chocolate cake recipe...but it has a lot of butter in it and eats kind of dry. What would you suggest I substitute?

— Aruna Durbin

Answer:

I am really known for, if I may say so this cake, which is vegan, so it has no butter in it at all. It actually has not got too much fat in it. It has about, I would say four tablespoons of oil. I use extra virgin olive oil or what am I using lately? I'm using sunflower oil. I really love it. And this cake is super moist. And this was my breakthrough cake. So this cake was developed something like 30 years ago. And people who are not vegan love this cake. It's a very moist cake. So you can find the recipe. It's called the chocolate cake to live for. Why don't you give that a try? A chocolate cake that eats kind of dry. That's not a nice chocolate cake.
