Next month I will have my "honorary" granddaughter, age 4, visiting. Do I need to be careful of feeding her chia or hemp seeds?

Answer:

You can put them in your smoothie, you just don't wanna give her too much of it. So for instance, if you're making a smoothie for two people, I would just put maybe no more than two teaspoons of the hemp or the chia seeds for two servings. 'cause you don't wanna give her too much fiber 'cause that'll distend her belly, make her gassy and not, not be a pleasant experience for her at all.
